KNOWING WHEN TO MAKE TOUGH BUT ETHICAL BUSINESS DECISIONS - UPDATED 4/18, 4/20 & 5/3/2013 as well as 1/18, 3/3, 6/5, 6/16, 7/9 - 7/11, 7/15, 7/17, 7/18, 7/21, 7/22, 7/24, 7/25, 8/1, 8/19 & 11/25/2014 in addition to 1/29 & 10/9/2015

Introduction:
Making critical business decisions about ethical practices is an era when so many are of the opinion that success can’t be achieved following ethical principles, (which are only printed for decorative appearances to satisfy “legal” requirements). The tendency in today’s environment is to resort to "whatever works" irrespective of who is impacted in the preoccupation with the “my” way or war attitude. Typically those who practice this methodology have very unethical track records but rely either on their equally unethical associates and/or ethically challenged politicos to cover-up their tracks. Those exposed to trappings of power especially, and the questionable “perks” it affords are of the opinion that they are “entitled” to treat the expressed wishes and rights of others with disdain because their way isn’t being revered by some whom they have come to expect it from. This description is about a Statesman in the true sense of the word, who when required, rose above the self-centeredness of the “me” centered types and carried out what was in the best interest of the nation
as a whole.

Here are the Background Details:

The Monday October 24, 2005 edition of IBD (A11) under the title “Franklin Staff
Pinched For U.S.”, describes the actions of then Founding Father Benjamin Franklin as Ambassador to France, circa 1780s taking time to make tough decisions for the needs of his young Nation.

He (himself a jack of all trades and a businessman) launched a campaign in 1780 to get the type of skilled French workers needed to emigrate to the U.S. to fill a desperately needed void at the time and France being one of the most advanced nations at the time was an excellent source of just the types needed to assist with the industrialization needs of his Country. He used his charming personality, not mainly to “parade before the cameras” mainly, but he went into the trenches in search of what was actually needed, personally, in addition to using the publish media of the day. In addition, he established a network of those willing to assist him because of his reaching out. Of America of his day, he said, you are welcomed for what you can contribute (ethically) he assured those being sought.

The Final/Outcome and Implications:

The French were eager to travel to he U.S. since their Country was in the throes of their own revolution and due to Franklin’s efforts; a wave of skilled tradesmen hit the shores of the U.S. They included engineers to build foundries and ships and textile garment makers who flocked to the East Coast cities to serve the needs of the rising middle class and in return the U.S. learned the latest technology used in France and other countries in Europe. Franklin did NOT encourage the semi to unskilled to emigrate to the young nation to "exploit" them in some "sordid" perpetual "wealth generating" scheme, such as that ushered in by "Dynastic" with the aid of a few "entitled" types as documented in the Here are Selected Examples for Consideration section of the post
AT WHAT PRICE LOYALTY - UPDATED AND AMENDED and instead he took the "high" road and encouraged the "skilled" types to emigrate because they were needed to assist his very young Nation with the type of professional skills required to achieve its industrial expansion objectives.
There are many lessons to learn from Franklin’s example, but the following two (2) examples, stand out, namely:
  1. a trueleader” knows when to "roll up his or her shirt sleeves" and put the greater good of the country above personal gain and
  2. when the "going" (or conditions) gets (or get) difficult, such an individual does not run and hide and from the periphery, manipulate underlings to carry out "sleazy" criminal actions to "further" the cause (as "free loader cause" types are fond of doing), but instead they rise to the occasion to meet the challenges head-on  
Furthermore, he didn’t implement some form of twisted immigration (trafficking) policy (scheme) that benefited him (or his pockets) personally, by gathering up lottery player "free loader" skill less types willing to attain much by contributing very, very little and in turn victimizing those who have achieved for the easily obtained credentials they seek in the cause of man's oldest profession to the destruction of society's pillars (or moral standards) [see the post SUPPLEMENT TO THE METHODS OF "FREE LOADERS" - THE ADDENDUM as well as THE LAUNCHING OF THE INITIALL CONSERVERY WEBSITE - UPDATED]; but instead embarked on a campaign to appeal to all those qualified with the desired skills* (see Footnote) in an atmosphere of EQUAL CONSIDERATION for the greater good of his Country.



The Conclusion:
There is a desperate need today for leaders of the Franklin example, not those willing to cut corners in the cause of personal gain and/or to assist the few at the expense of all else in society, and in the process trampling over the rights and wishes of those who stand in their way, but true patriotic leaders who will make courageous stands in their decision-making as in the Regan mold, this nation's 40th President (see the posts THE MAKING OF A GENUINE HERO - EDITED & UPDATED as well as  EXAMPLES OF COURAGE - UPDATED) and possessing the strength of character to tell the "free loader's causetypes, IT'S TIME TO PAY TAXES IN THEIR OWN IDENTITIES NOT THE IDENTITIES OF OTHERS AND CALL THEMSELVES "ORIGINALS" as described in the bulleted listing following the "As demonstrated on the pages..." paragraph in the Conclusion section of the post "HOW CAN THEIR BE ANY DEGREE OF CONFIDENCE THAT THE STATE OF FINANCIAL FIRMS IS WHAT IT APPEARS TO BE - UPDATED AND AMENDED?". The implicit message in this post and the other post linked to it as are many on this Blog's pages, focus on the problems of modern day trafficking and its effects on society and the forms (though subtle that those who exploit the individuals who are willing to place themselves in such circumstances then bring to a society that turns a "blind eye" to these types of problems. These arrangements while prevalent in more affluent societies impact all because those used in this fashion, in turn are allowed to "imperil" the lives of others in search of easily obtained "credentials, histories, accomplishments, and identities" and in this manner it effects those non-participants who are treated as mere "pawns" for these corporate "free loader" types (as documented in the post WHO REALLY WAS GRANTED THE FREEDOM TO SPEAK? - link on COMMENTS Page), with no meaningful skills and/or abilities who are allowed to take from those who have earned their qualifications by means of identity fraud to provide quick fix income generation via the oldest profession known to man and being attributed non-existent qualifications that some individual legitimately in possession of, will be victimized for and in this manner the participants (by choice) and the non-participants (who are victimized for their qualifications, etc.) in turn pay the price for this method of achieving quick turn around income generation for those corporations not willing to invest in real innovation that will bring actual benefits to society, but only quick turn-arounds for "bottom line" only driven investment types with their motto, "whatever works"!

The offer outlined below if carefully followed, will demonstrate that it's possible to be such a leader (of the Frankling - type mold), even in today's "whatever works" environment!

Before embarking on any undertaking whether small or great an assessment should first be carried out to determine: 1) if the type of attitude (or stamina) needed is available, which is essential for the selecting of those critical supporting cast members required for the effort because the difference between success and failure can be reflected in the right versus the wrong attitude and what it conveys to these individuals - (CLARIFICATION: success as defined does not mean winning regardless of the methods used or by the "whatever works" mantra, but rather taking the high road and being successful. The fact that it's NEVER been done does not mean it cannot be done. NOTE, CANDIDATES SIMPLY STATING THEY WERE "TAKING THE HIGH ROAD" SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE APPROACH OUTLINED IN THIS PROCESS BECAUSE MORE OFTEN THAN NOT SUCH POSITIONS EXCLUDED ONE OR MORE OF THE CRITERIA DOCUMENTED HERE AND AS A RESULT, ARE BEING DISREGARDED AS VIABLE EXAMPLES OF THE TYPE OF UNIQUE METHODOLOGY DESCRIBED HERE), 2) the type of self correction measures, which are personally required that can only be discovered by self introspection for the critical reasons previously described on the pages of this Blog, 3) if understanding, essential especially for the cause of others is an available characteristic, 4) that the type of knowledge needed for application of just the appropriate balance to avoid the tendency to resort to expedient decision-making that can imperil any effort, is available and 5) possession of the leadership qualities needed to inspire (such as took place in this post by the Founding Fathers and that "Rag Tag" group of "freedom seekers", which admittedly is a very significant undertaking. This short synopsis/list should help when exploring any undertaking, grave or small. (Note: the specific leadership application was selected if for example the cause being considered involves an extreme case of redirecting a group lost and in need of serious assistance in pointing out needs that may not even be readily apparent to the group). This approach does not represent the Proprietorship's providing of political services as a business offering previously dropped, this position has not been reversed, but instead represents the specific ONE-TIME only conditions under, which voluntary assistance offered to a unique individual, will be provided should she accept the offer to pursue higher office as appropriate. I often evaluate different products/services recommended, just as was done today for Liberty Mutual insurance, which was being recommended as a Group type carrier for Pratt Alumni. After providing the Rep. contacted with my information to compare it to my current auto insurance; it was pointed out to the individual that there wasn't a financial incentive to justify switching, who, indicated that iformation would be sent to my email address anyway for comparison/decision-making. This comment is being documented here for the record realizing the lengths "free loader types inclusive" go too, to use any opening to try to justify non existent "legitimacy". I evaluate different products/services when recommended to try to be as fair as possible in my decisions, just as was done today for Liberty Mutual insurance, (which is connected to the Liberty Mutual of Omaha Insurance Companies - see composite of correspondence included below) that was now a Group type carrier for Pratt Alumni choosing to use this entity for such services, if in their interest to do so,
received in today's mail. After contacting the organization and providing the Rep. with my information to obtain a quote for comparing it to my current auto insurance; it was pointed out to Liberty's Rep, (who had earlier requested and was provided my conservery@gmail.com email address to justify a paperless billing savings quotation); that since, the quote was essentially the same (but on the high side) as my existing Provider's, [approximately $379 (new) versus approximately $368 (existing)], there wasn't any financial incentive to justify switching and this was conveyed. The Rep., in turn spoke to the strength/reputation of their Company to make her position more compelling and indicated that the information compiled would be sent to my email address provided above anyway for reconsideration. This comment is being documented here for the record (since I have not as yet received it). However, realizing the lengths "free loader's cause" go too, to use any opening, including electronic fraud, as documented in the post ELECTRONIC NETWORKING RECORDS FRAUD ON A SIGNIFICANT SCALE UPDATED, to divert email in addition to frequenting past or rejected establishments as documented in the post FREQUENTING PAST ESTABLISHMENTS AS A "MARK" OF LEGITIMACY - UPDATED (especially in this specific case, one that also at some point, provided the same Group coverage to the institution where my now ex spouse attended and completed studies and whose records some may be relying on mangled/combined with mine to provide themselves and their "free loader's cause" the instant "credibility" sought; whose curious action on one occasion led me to wonder about decision-making and whom she was supporting, bcause that action of making a contribution to my school, without any such request from me did NOT support me at all and led to much confusion afterwards, because I would never correspondingly even think to contribute to her school). Those of the "free loader's cause" routinely employ networking to other entities to elicit their cooperation in showing blatant disregard for carrying out their fiduciary responsibilities (as documented in comment # 2 from 4/29/2013 on THIS Page), in an attempt to justify non existent "legitimacy" for "free loader's cause"; it will be documented here, when it's received ONLY to close out this evaluation, nothing more, or less, as appropriate, since no business decision was or is being made to obtain the quoted insurance using my information by me (as documented also in the included photo above) and no individual, regardless of status has been granted de facto authority to carry out such decisions on my behalf as outlined in the CONSERVERY AUTHORIZATION.
