The picturesque Tiger swallowtail butterfly shown “on a mission” to the prized “pollen” is taking the alternate path to get to its objective by slowly making the way up the lily to the flower in its sights. These larvae then curl the leaves over themselves with silk, and develop large fake eyespots that make them look like small snakes.
