THE PRICE OF SUCCESS! - UPDATED 2/25/2014

Introduction:
Success, as we know it is not an easy thing to handle as most do a very poor job of handling it well and it would appear that the younger most are when such is thrust upon them, the least they are able to cope with the associated trappings that it brings. This post from the Pages of this Blog, takes a turn from the usual subject matter to focus of this subject matter because of encouragement to do so from the youngest of the Brazant’s, Dawn who wanted me focus on it as a result of the developments surrounding the young “teenage” pop “star”, Mr. Justin Beiber and his most recent escapade, that has his personal life looking much less than stellar.

Here are the Details of Note:
This very young teenage “star” who burst unto the scene via the Internet and became an overnight sensation, saw significant success at an early age because of his singing talent. They are many talented individuals out three in the music scene but very few meet with the type of success he achieved, which in some ways was reminiscent of the type of success, the late Mr. Michael Jackson met with also at a very young age. While the late Mr. Michael Jackson life did not unravel in the manner that Mr. Justin Beiber’s is, he too paid the price for his success, as most do, when they are idolized and are very young. We were all created by God to honor Him and since most have become separated from Him and with the tendency to “honor” inherent in our natures, it’s transferred to all he wrong things and/or people as the case may be. That’s why it’s so easy for most to be misled by others who in turn take advantage of the unsuspecting.

When Mr. Justin Beiber was younger his Mother largely controlled his actions and all appeared well but since he has now become of age to make his own decisions, his actions and behavior are becoming more and more questionable. One of the biggest problems such individuals in his position encounter is being idolize by others and unable to cope with this type of adulation. Most handle it badly and this applies even to adults as we were not created by our Creator to be idolized (or worshipped) and therein lies the problem faced by those in his position and especially one so young as he like the late Mr. Michael Jackson was. This type of adulation effects all whether young or older and none are really capable of handling it well because such practices in the proper manner were ONLY intended for our Creator, as His Commandments so clearly highlight by their two main thrusts, namely 1) tohonorGod, which is the purpose of the first three (3), and 2) to demonstrate respect for others as an outcome of the honoring Him, the purpose of the final seven (7). These were intended to bring about the proper balance in our lives that can only come from a life lived according to His will because on our own these commands cannot be kept. Only He can show us how to Honor Him and in turn show respect for others, as no one else can, as it’s practical impossibility without His guidance. Many act strangely when “worshipped” even older or more “mature“ individuals because we not supposed to be placed in such positions, period. Those finding themselves in such positions will in turn “act out” in an attempt to justify the notoriety being attributed to them that none of us are deserving of because they are no “ideal” role models for such circumstances (hence the attempt to drag race a $300,000 plus Lamborghini down a city street, or in Mr. Jackson’s case the erecting of a theme park styled ranch to obtain the childhood state associated with the lack of receipt of the childhood years he was robbed of in the desire on the part of his handlers to achieve “success” at any costs and in the case of Mr. Elvis Presley, the filling of an entire room with the type of jukebox and pinball type machines that he associated with the objects associated with his greatest successes while spending hours involved with these types of idle activities while allowing himself to become almost obese etc.). Then when the point in the lives of these individuals is reached when this adulation is no longer received as it previously was pseudo actions and/or activities are contrived in an attempt to regain or keep the misplaced notoriety going and as a result, some resort to unethical and/or illegal activities in an attempt to maintain the exaltation that have been received previously.

The Implications/Outcome of Such Actions:
When those in these positions reach the stage that they have to resort to planning pseudo events and/or trying to maintain a false image that has been attributed to them, then it’s realized that the “gurus” status attributed by others is undeserving but rather than accept this, great and or elaborate lengths are planned in order to maintain the facade that has been created. In these attempts, total disregard for the rights of others is demonstrated as “stealing” from others is carried out to keep us the false image, ignoring the rights of others is condoned and loss of life in viewed only as “collateral damage” as long as the outcome ensures that the pseudo image attributed can be kept up and maintained. In short, nothing is allowed to stand in the way of achieving the desired outcome, no matter how heinous or distasteful (even if it means covering up genocide or the wiping out of an entire generation or two of a family and replacing them with impostors). Nothing is considered off limits as long as the end result is achieved, namely the continued receipt of the idolizing previously received (that such types have come to believe that they are deserving of). These types are not only associated with the entertainment industry, but can also be found in all walks of life, whether business, education or government, etc.

The Conclusion:
It’s a mistake for us to “worship” or idolize anything or individual regardless of its/their status that all such will eventually be realized to be not deserving of such adulation as only God is worthy of such from us. Furthermore, participating in the misplacing of adulation on anything or individual separates us from God as it’s a form of “worship” that is contrary to His commandments that serve the purpose of helping to restore the balance in our lives us needed to function effectively in service to Him. When it’s realized the extent to, which we have become separated from Him it will help us to “see” our actions from the perspective that He intended for us in a small but meaningful way that will help to restore that, which separates us from the ideal He intended and only He can bring about. All the “idols” that keep us out of harmony with Him will only further separate and keep us in the undesired state that results in the misdirecting of or attributing of “worship” in all the wrong places and to all the wrong individuals, who are mere mortals as we are. In the end, nothing or no one can replace God in our lives no matter how much idolizing is misplaced in this regard and the longer it takes for us to come to this realization the longer it will take for us to come to grips with the fact that we are sadly lacking something basic in our lives that no individual or thing can give us apart from the Creator of A-L-L regardless of status. When we have reached this point in our lives, IT’S AT THIS TIME THAT IT CAN TRULY BE STATED THAT HIS CHOSEN ARE ON THEIR WAY TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING IN HARMONY WITH GOD AND ACCORDING TO HIS WILL HAS BEEN ACHIEVED.
